Whiteleaf stretched as soon as she opened her eyes.'Funny I don't ever remember falling asleep' the white lioness told herself.Maybe it was time for an apprentice.She'd wait a few more moons then she'd ask Tigerstar about.Anyway it was about she went over her supplies.Her blue to amber eyes looked at her herbs.She started alphabetically
"Barage Leaves,Broken Rosemary Blossoms,Burdock Root,Cat Nip,
Celandre...."'Yes I need to get more Celandre' Whiteleaf told herself and went on....

Leafkit happily tumbled into the medicine cat's den,"Helllooo."She mewed.There really wasnt a reason for her to talk like that,but she held it out adding a tune to the word.She looked at all the herbs and medicine around her,"Wow you sure got alot of stuff,how do you know which is which?"she pondered curiously at all the strange leafs.She took special interest in some odd looking roots.

Whiteleaf smiled at the curious kit but her gaze soon wandered to the root.'Hmmmm?......Ginger root!Harmless' she told herself.Whiteleaf shrugged to the kits question
"My mentor tought me" she told Leafekit.Her mentor did teach her what these herbs were and thier uses.

Leafkit poked the root,it was a little hard.She curiously sniffed it,she had never seen anything like it.She soon lost interest,"Wow,it must have taken moons to learn all of these."she gaped looking at each herb.The only one she was familiar with was the deathberry,which was taught to her quickly.Still,she peared over a small group of them.Again she lost interest,padding over near Whiteleaf."Are you gonna teach someone all these one day?"She said looking at her paws,flexing her claws in and out,moveing the dirt.This amused her how her claws dug tiny holes so easily.

Whiteleaf wondered why the she kit had asked her that.Slowly the old lioness nodded.'Not yet though' she told herself.She had a long ways to go before Starclan welcomed her!
"One day soon" she told the curious Leafkit.The old lioness's blue orbs sparkled.
